Citlali Cuevas
She/Her
Citlali Cuevas is a Chicago-based bilingual Latinx actor, writer, producer and improv comedian. Over the last four years, she’s acted as a lead in six independent short films, five of which she produced and three she co-wrote. She also produces and hosts her own talk show on YouTube called “The Shit Show,” and prior to Covid produced and performed in “Friday Night Book Club,”- a bi-monthly comedy variety show headlines by her improv troupe “book Club”.
Citlali is a graduate of the Second City's Conservatory Program and has performed both improv and sketch comedy on stages all over Chicago. Prior to her comedy and film career, she performed theatre in Dublin, Ireland, while studying abroad at the Gaiety School of Acting. She is also a former collegiate Division 1 gymnast who still dabbles in the sport and takes great pride in being able to do “that flippy thingy” whenever she feels like it.
When she isn’t creating, engrossed in a project or doing handstand, you can spot her frolicking about the city, dancing and living it up with her girls, traveling, working as an executive assistant for a financial consulting firm, or simply laying low and spending quality time with her two cats, Jasper and Mr. Sir.
