Val Agnew

Founder & Executive Producer

Val (She/Her) started out in the business world, but quickly realized her love of entertaining folks was too strong to ignore. She graduated from Depaul University with a Master's in Film & Television production while also participating heavily in the Chicago comedy scene, most recently as Creative Director of the iO Comedy Network until the theater's closure.

When she isn't running Trident's operations, Val is a creative project manager and works as a freelance filmmaker & video editor, small business consultant, and political campaign worker. She improvises with ComedySportz Chicago and The Stacks. She watches way too many Marvel theory videos on YouTube and she's been working on her tennis game.
